Rumors regarding the French defender’s future have been raising as he reaches the final year of his contract and no agreement has been reached regarding an extension.
Speculations suggested that the 28-year-old may make a move to the Premier League in the summer transfer window as Manchester United and Chelsea are targeting him. However, Varane insisted that he is focusing on Real Madrid at the moment.
In an interview before the clash against Chelsea on Tuesday, Varane said:
“My future is clear. I am focused on the end of this season.
"We are in a very intense and key moment."
When asked if he plans to stay at the Bernabeu, he responded:
"It is normal that my focus is on the end of the season. The message to the fans is that I am 100 per cent committed to the team.
"We have challenges that encourage us a lot. I am focused on giving everything on the field."
