‘Real Madrid isn't that bad’– Kimmich on David Alaba’s transfer
David Alaba has reportedly agreed a five-year deal to join Real Madrid at the end of the season after his long spell with Bayern Munich.

has welcomed his team-mate David Alaba's decision to leave Bayern for
Real Madrid, saying Los Blancos are a worthy next step for the Austrian.
"He has won everything here, even multiple times,"
Kimmich told
Sky Sport.<em>
"Twice the triple, once even six titles in one year. Real is in any case a worthy club.
"There aren't many steps you can take after playing for Bayern but Real Madrid isn't that bad as the next step."
Alaba has made over 400 appearances for Bayern Munich since 2010, winning 26 honors including nine Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2013 and 2020.
He has scored 33 goals and provided 45 assists across all competitions.
