Spurs are eyeing Julian Nagelsmann as Jose Mourinho’s successor, based on recent reports.

Jose Mourinho

and his coaching staff on Monday. They led the

Premier League

table earlier this season but are now sitting seventh, five points adrift of the top four.

Ryan Mason and Chris Powell have taken over Mourinho’s role and the Spurs are on the lookout for a permanent replacement before the season ends.

As per reports from

Daily Mail

RB Leipzig

Julian Nagelsmann

has caught the attention of Daniel Levy.

The Spurs chairman has been the 33-yer-old’s admirer as he leads his side to a top-four finish in the Bundesliga this season.

The German tactician has also been targeted by

Bayern Munich

since Hansi Flick announced that he will depart in the summer. Therefore, Tottenham may have to compete for acquiring Nagelsmann’s services, although no discussions have been held with Bayern Munich, according to the Leipzig chief.

There are and were no discussions and no offer,”

he said.

“That's why I don't know what Bayern's wish is. I have said I don’t want to start a war with my employers - that's still the case."

Tottenham may consider Brendan Rodgers, Scott Parker, Nuno Espirito Santo and Graham Potter should they fail to land Nagelsmann.
