boss Mikel Arteta has gave an update on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's outbreak of Malaria.
Aubameyang was absent during Arsenal's 3-0 win over Sheffield United, and the club attributed his absence to illness. The 31-year-old striker announced yesterday that he had contracted Malaria ahead of his side's 4-0 Europa League win over Slavia Prague, and now Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has announced a time for his star to return to action.
"We just spoke with him. He’s at home, he’s fine,"
The Spanish head coach told reporters.
"He had two days in hospital to get the right treatment, but he’s feeling good now.
"We will see how he recovers. I think he will need a few days to recover from that, but he wants to be back as soon as possible. That’s what he said to me."
