Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has provided an update on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Martin Odegaard's fitness ahead of their Europa League quarter-final second leg clash with Slavia Prague.
Both players were absent in the Gunner’s 3-0 victory overSheffield United
in the Premier League last weekend.
was sidelined due to an illness and
sat out as he is nursing an ankle problem that also kept him out the first leg against the Czech champions.
And speaking in his press conference before the match
provided the latest update on the pair.
Asked if Aubameyang and Odegaard will participate in training on Wednesday, the Arsenal boss told reporters:
"Depending on how they wake up. If they wake up better, yes.
"Yesterday none of them could train. Hopefully today it’s a sunnier day so maybe it’s better."
