Wolves Pedro Neto set to miss PL season and Euros
Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Pedro Neto is expected to be out of action for the remainder of the season following a knee injury.
The 21-year-old was taken off the pitch during the first half of
Wolve
’s 1-0 victory over
Fulhamon Friday and will undergo surgery this week.
He will miss the rest of Wolves' Premier League campaign and not be available for selection as Portugal look to win the Euros for the second time.
A club statement read:
"Pedro Neto suffered a significant injury to his patella (knee cap) during the match against Fulham and, following a review with a knee specialist in London at the weekend, surgery has been planned for later this week.
"Unfortunately, he is not expected to return to play until next season."
