Roma could count on Borja Mayoral for the future

Borja Mayoral has enjoyed his best form this season for Roma and the Giallorossi are poised to make Real Madrid striker’s deal permanent at the end of this season.

The 24-year-old is on a two-year loan deal with the purchase option to be activated in July 2022, hence

Roma

are willing to complete the transfer this year.

The Spaniard has played an integral part in Roma’s progress in Europa League and has netted 14 goals so far this season, 7 of them in the Europa League.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Roma will focus on Mayoral as their first option in their attacking line if

Edin Dzeko

leaves the club.

The report claims Roma are also eyeing both

Torino

striker

Andrea Belotti

and

Fiorentina

forward

Dusan Vlahovic

, which would make Borja Mayoral the backup.
