The Gunners forward ended his 15-month goal drought amid fresh injury fears.

Gabriel Martinelli

scored

Arsenal

’s third goal in their 3-0 victory against

Sheffield United

on Sunday. This was Martinelli’s first goal since he scored against

Chelsea

The Brazilian forward was substituted in the 83rd minute due to an ankle knock but says he has not suffered a serious injury.

Asked whether he will miss his side’s Europa League match on Thursday, Martinelli told the club’s

official website

:

"No, I am alright to play on Thursday."

He added:

"I am feeling a bit tired but I'm so happy with the goal and even happier with the victory and the three points.

"I work every single day in training, you need to prepare yourself because when Mikel needs you, you need to be there to play and show something."

Arsenal will play against

Slavia Prague

in the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final clash on Thursday. The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw in the first leg and they are set to play the second leg in the Eden Arena.
