Cadiz intends to defend the innocence of its players against the charges.
confirmed that Juan Cala will speak to the press on Tuesday after being accused of racist insults by Mouctar Diakhaby.
On Sunday, a match was held between Valencia and Cadiz, which Los Piratas
won 2-1. However, the game was stopped for 20 minutes due to a clash between Diakhaby and Cala. In their conversations with referee David Medie Jimenez, Gabriel Paulista and Kevin Gameiro tried to defuse the situation until Diakhaby finally told the referee another version of events.
The Valencia players left the pitch and then returned to the pitch without Diakhaby. After the game, Valencia tweeted that Diakhaby had been racistly insulted.
The Cadiz Club then posted a statement on their website claiming that they do not tolerate racism in any form. However, they added that they have no doubt about the honesty of their players and that Cala intends to explain this in front of the TV cameras and defend the innocence of his team.
