Pulisic: ‘I'm feeling confident’

Although Christian Pulisic used to be a regular when Frank Lampard was in charge, he has been able to start only three games under Thomas Tuchel and is hoping for his second Premier League start this weekend.

from the International break with confidence as he was able to start in the

USMNT

’s 4-1 win against Jamaica and also deliver a man-of-the-match performance in a 2-1 win over Northern Ireland.

"It always feels good, of course, to get on the scoresheet," Pulisic told

Chelsea's official website

. "It's definitely going to help build some confidence.

"I'm feeling good right now, and the guys are feeling good as it seemed here. For me personally as well, going back to the club level, I'm really excited.

"I'm feeling confident, as I've said. I feel the best I've felt in my game for a while, so I'm excited for what's to come."

Pulisic used to be a regular starter when

Frank Lampard

was in charge but since

Thomas Tuchel

took over, he has only started once in the Premier League.

The American has also started two FA Cup games since Tuchel’s arrival and is still looking for his first goal under him and is hoping to start his second Premier League game against West Brom this weekend.
