. The manager who won the league with Leicester City in England says he is happy with the improvements made from the last term and urges his team to climb the table.

“Milan, Napoli and Sampdoria are the teams that have scored the most points compared to last year,”

Ranieri said at a press conference.

“That’s a sign that we have worked well and I’m very happy for Milan, for Stefano Pioli, who was my player for four years, and I wish him the best of luck.”

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is back for AC Milan and the 39-year-old player can participate in tomorrow’s game after having played for Sweden in the international break.

“Milan are not just Ibrahimovic,”

Ranieri said.

“He’s a great champion who is making people understand what football is: sacrifice, passion, serious training, great combativeness and a great desire to improve.“He’s an all-round champion and a player who stimulates his teammates and it’s logical that when he’s not around, the teammates around him want to show that they are learning.”
