The Los Blancos boss has no plans to spark transfer rumors.
Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane has denied rumors linking him with a move for Dortmund star Erling Haaland, stressing that he is only focusing on his side's performance on the pitch.
Mino Raiola, Haaland's agent, left for Spain yesterday and met with Barcelona officials. Rumor has it that he plans to meet with officials from major European clubs, including Real Madrid, to choose the best destination for the Norwegian star. However, Zidane declined to comment on the matter, claiming that his only focus was on his side's next match against Eibar in La Liga.
Zidane told reporters:
"Everyone here does what they want and what they think is right. My job is to prepare the match with all the boys."
Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is unable to accompany his team in crucial matches against Barcelona and Liverpool due to injury, and Zidane added on this regard:
"The injuries we've had are many, it's too much. These are things that happen and we have to accept it, but no one is to blame. What we want is for him to recover as soon as possible, we know the captain he is. He has hurt himself and I hope he recovers soon."
