Celtic continues the search for a new manager with contacting Eddie Howe.

Eddie Howe

used to work as Bournemouth head coach, but he left the job, and now

board, who are looking to find a replacement for

Neil Lennon

since February, have contacted him to talk about the possibility of hiring him.

Neil Lennon parted ways with the Hoops in February when they were 18 points behind their old rivals Rangers. The club has been looking to find the proper successor for him ever since; there are a few options that the club is considering reportedly.

John Kennedy

has been the interim manager of the hoops as they keep trying to choose the new Celtic boss. Now the board is interested in signing Eddie Howe and is willing to offer a package that would convince Howe, who has been away from the managerial work for a year after parting ways with Bournemouth.

The head coach is not the only position that the board is willing to make decisions for; they are going to make some changes in the club over the summer as their captain Scott Brown is leaving Celtic to join Aberdeen as a player-coach; and Peter Lawwell is going to step down from his position as the Chief Executive at the end of June, being replaced by Dominic McKay.
