Juventus may swap Dybala for Paul Pogba

Wed 31 March 2021 | 13:44

The Argentine international is expected to depart in the summer and Juventus may be interested in swapping him for the Red Devils’ Paul Pogba.

Based on reports from

Football Italia

Paul Pogba

is a key target for

head coach

Andrea Pirlo

The France international helped Juventus win four titles, while they also got to the Champions League final but lost 3-1 to Barcelona, who had Neymar, Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez’s help.

Juventus are eager to acquire Pogba’s services once again after he moved to

Manchester United

and failed to meet the expectations.

The 28-year-old failed to make it to the first team under the reign of Sir Alex Ferguson. Although he came back a more mature player, he had a tough relationship with Jose Mourinho.

When Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was appointed as the manager at Old Trafford, they were still hunting major honours, which urged Pogba to think about leaving.

The Frenchman’s possible destinations are Juventus and Real Madrid, but Andrea Pirlo is confident that using

Paulo Dybala

in the contract can persuade them to put pen to paper. The 27-year-old is reaching the end of his contract and may be used as persuasion to trade with Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester City.
