Grzegorz Krychowiak and Kamil Piatkowski have tested positive for coronavirus before the World Cup qualifier battle against England.

The first Poland player to have tested positive for COVID-19 was Mateusz Klich before it was announced that shot-stopper Łukasz Skorupski has also been struggling with the virus.

Jakub Kwiatkowski

revealed that

Grzegorz Krychowiak

Kamil Piatkowski

are the latest to be dealing with coronavirus as Poland prepare to face England on Wednesday.

Kwiatkowski tweeted:

"The Polish national team has undergone further tests for the presence of coronavirus.

"Unfortunately, the results of Grzegorz Krychowiak and Kamil Piatkowski are positive. Due to the fact that Krychowiak is a recovering man, we started talks with UEFA in order to clarify the matter and admit him to the match."

Polish Football Association spokesman Kwiatkowski had also tested positive.

Robert Lewandowski

will not feature for his country due to a knee injury he is recovering from.
