Spain midfielder optimistic about future improvements

Fabian Ruiz believes La Roja are doing good despite their poor start to the competition.

. However, La Roja managed to secure a 2-1 away victory against

Georgia

in their second World Cup qualification run with two goals from

Ferran Torres

and

Dani Olmo

.

Despite Spain’s sloppy form in last two matches,

Fabian Ruiz

believes Luis Enrique‘s side are doing good as a squad and he is optimistic about future improvements.

In an interview with

Marca

, the Spaniard said:

“We were not good with the ball against Georgia. But not all games go the way you want them to.

“But at half time we saw the mistakes and there was an improvement in the second half.

“Our goal is always to win and to be first in the group. We have a very good squad and we are doing things well.”
