Herrera linked with a Porto return
The Mexican international, who joined Diego Simeone‘s side on a free transfer from Porto in 2019, could be on the verge of returning to Portuguese giants for an €8m fee.
Slipping down Simeone’s pecking order, Simeone opted to bring alternatives in 2020/21 as injuries, Covid-19, and personal problems have played a constant disruptive role for Herrera.
According to
Mundo Deportivo, Porto boss Sergio Conceicao is monitoring Herrera’s situation ahead of a potential summer bid.
