Gareth Southgate has talented youngsters and highly experienced players, and the Manchester United defender feels good about the upcoming Euro.
England centre-back
Harry Maguireclaims that the Three Lions are now a better team than the team that reached the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup.
In 2018, Harry Maguire and his teammates had an excellent performance in Russia and reached the final four teams of the tournament, but in the end, Croatia prevented them from reaching the final. However, before the England World Cup qualifier against Albania, the Manchester United captain warned opponents that Gareth Southgate's men had only gotten stronger since their last major tournament
Maguire told the press:
“I think over the three years we’ve developed, we’ve worked more tactically, the experience of the big tournament, the highs and the lows
.
“We’ve got to take that experience into the coming tournaments. I’m sure that will help us. Of course as a player and as a team three years is a long time to develop and we have developed in a positive way.”
