Uruguay assistant coach Rebollo encourages Cavani to leave Man Utd

will expire in the summer and he is yet to extend his deal with the English club. Cavani has been heavily linked with a move to

Boca Juniors

as he enters the last months of his contract. Uruguay assistant coach

Mario Rebollo

says it will beneficial for his side if Cavani decides to continue his career in South America.

Rebollo told

“It helps the national team if Cavani goes to Boca or wherever.

“The priority is that he plays where he is comfortable and with a good competitive level. If he’s close to here it’d be great, but if he’s not comfortable he would not bear it much.

“It would be good for us if Cavani plays where he feels most comfortable. It makes no difference to me if it’s Boca or another place, just where he’s better.

“We have to have him with rhythm and competition.”

Cavani has scored 6 goals in 18 league matches for Manchester United in their current Premier League campaign. The Red Devils will play their next league match against
