The 61-year-old pronounced his departure from the national team this month when the European Championship finals were postponed.

Low has led his country to World Cup victory in 2014 and the Confederation Cups in 2017 during his spell in Germany. He admitted that he is learning Spanish, raising speculations regarding his future. According to the rumors, he is going to manage either

or Barcelona and Xavi is confident that Low is a perfect match for the job at Camp Nou.

When quizzed about the reason behind Low being a suitable manager for Barcelona, Xavi added:

Although Low’s deal with the German Football Association will expire in 2022, he has decided to depart earlier given a disappointing 2020.

Germany have only managed to win three of their eight games last year, with a thumping 6-0 defeat by Spain in the Nations League.
