Manchester United and Barcelona are among the clubs who are interested in Andre Silva.

Barcelona

are the latest club to show their interest in

Eintracht Frankfurt

’s

Andre Silva

, according to

Marca

.

Manchester United

have been linked with Silva in recent months and are also expected to compete with Atletico Madrid.

The Red Devils might also have to compete with Barcelona if Ronald Koeman could afford Silva.

Koeman has had little money to spend since taking over in August and Frankfurt are likely to demand a huge fee for him and therefore, Koeman might have no choice but to opt for cheaper options and free transfers.

Memphis Depay and Georginio Wijnaldum, who performed brilliantly under him for the Netherlands, are likely to join him when their contracts expire at Lyon and Liverpool respectively.

Eric Garcia, a graduate of the Barcelona academy, is also expected to return from Manchester City.

Silva joined Frankfurt permanently in September after a difficult spell with AC Milan, who twice ended up spending on him on loan.

He was able to score 16 goals through all competitions last season and has been even more prolific this time around as he has been able to score 22 goals in 26 appearances so far.

Because of his attacking threat, Frankfurt are currently fourth in the Bundesliga table and on course to qualify for the Champions League before Borussia Dortmund.
