Thu 25 March 2021 | 14:08

La Liga president insists Real Madrid and Barcelona cannot recruit the two prodigies this summer.

Although it hasn’t been a long time since

Kylian Mbappe

and

Erling Haaland

were introduced to the world football, the two prodigies have performed exceptionally well and are being sought by many European clubs.

Spanish giants,

Real Madrid

and

Barcelona

, are among the clubs who are constantly being linked with

Dortmund

and

Paris Saint-Germain

aces, however, La Liga president

Javier Tebas

believes due to the global economic crisis caused by coronavirus, Real and Barca will not be able to recruit the two phenomena.

In an interview with

AS

, Tebas said:

“Barca have to move out many players to bring in a star, Madrid are not in position to do it either. Apart from the clubs owned by nation states, everyone has financial issues.

“We cannot say that Mbappe or Haaland will arrive, that Messi will stay… it is impossible. The crisis is global.

“We are trying to ensure that the La Liga brand is above the players and even the clubs.

“I would like to have Messi, Guardiola, Klopp, Haaland, Mbappe, but it is not possible.”
