Real Madrid are monitoring many options to strengthen their attacking line-up.
captain Fernando Hierro believes the La Liga champions should recruit Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe.
Mbappe and Haaland are among the players that many teams want to sign. Both have performed exceptionally well in their teams and contributed greatly to their goals and team's successes. Current Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos hopes his team will go for the Haaland instead of Mbappe, but Hierro, the former Los Blancos captain, welcomes the purchase of both players.
"If I were Real Madrid, I would sign Haaland and Mbappe,"
Hierro told Radio Marca.
Real's Sergio Ramos is entering the final months of his contract and could leave the team as a free agent in the summer. Hierro added:
"I would like Sergio Ramos to continue and retire at Real Madrid," Hierro said.
"But not because of the time he has been there, but because of his performances.
"He is showing that he is still the best in the world. When there is will, people understand each other.
"There are times when the economic situation is not the most important thing and you have to assess where you want to be."
