The Norwegian pulled off a talismanic display when the Gunners pushed their way up from 3-0 down to a 3-3 draw against West Ham.

According to

Calum Chambers

,

Martin Odegaard

‘feels at home’ at Emirates Stadium and he is hoping the Norway international continues to run on a rich vein of form since joining in January on a loan deal from

Real Madrid

.

The 22-year-old met the target in important clashes against

Olympiacos

and

Tottenham

. In the battle against

West Ham

on Sunday which came down to a 3-3 draw, he was the star of the game.

About Odegaard’s performance on Sunday, Chambers said:

“He has done brilliant.

“He is a great lad if you speak to him. I get on well with him. He feels at home here. He feels good.

“He’s doing well in training. He works incredibly hard - in training and games. I think everyone is really pleased and I hope he continues the form he’s on.”

In Gunners’ deal with Real Madrid, there is no clause that will agree with Odegaard’s permanent stay when the campaign ends.

Zinedine Zidane

has never had trust in the Norwegian and Arsenal are hoping that can be used to their advantage to acquire Odegaard’s services permanently.

The midfielder is also open to signing a contract with Arsenal, saying he is enjoying football in north London.

I have felt at home since the first day, I am happy to be here and feel great,”

he said.

“You never know what is going to happen. For now, I am just focusing on doing my best this season and helping the team as much as possible.”
