Unbeaten record is not our focus - Gerrard

Gerrard intends to focus his team on winning the Scottish Cup.

Rangers

boss Steven Gerrard believes ending the season undefeated is a side issue for his side and their focus is on winning the Scottish Cup.

Gerrard led the Rangers to the Scottish League title a decade later, and it was a great honor for his team. However, they were eliminated from the Europa League after losing to Slavia Prague, and for now, the only title left for them is the Scottish Cup. The Rangers have not lost a game in the league so far this season and many believe they can maintain this run until the end of the season, but Gerrard stressed that this record will not be their focus.

"It's a sideshow,"

the ex-Liverpool captain told reporters.

"The important thing for us to be ready for every game and try win as many as we can.

"The Scottish Cup is the priority because it's a chance to win another trophy. We'll give it all we've got in the remaining games to try stay unbeaten.

"It's not a priority because I need to use my squad. People are desperate for minutes and games."
