The English winger left the Citizens in 2017 and joined Borussia Dortmund.

Jadon Sancho

moved to Manchester City in 2015 when he was 14 years old. The teenager quickly developed himself as one of the best talents in the Citizens’ youth team. However, Sancho’s desire to get first-team minutes persuaded Manchester City to part ways with the young star. Sancho joined

Borussia Dortmund

with an £8 million deal in 2017 and has become one of the best players in the Bundesliga.

"I've said many times, it is not a regret. He decides. He's doing really well,"

Guardiola said after his side drew Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-final on Friday.

"Congratulations, he's an exceptional player. He is a national team player with huge quality, doing really well in Dortmund.

"We wanted him to stay but he decided to leave, and when people decide to leave all we can do is [let them] leave.

"I wish him all the best, except when he plays against us. No regrets at all. If he's happy, I'm happy."

Manchester City will face Dortmund in the Champions League quarter-finals on April 6.
