’s goal drought in the away games of the Champions League continued. The 34-year-old was angry when he was substituted in the 59th minute of the game, but Diego Simeone says he understands the striker’s frustration.

“It’s normal that he got angry when he was taken off, players want to stay on.”

Suarez has failed to score in his last 25 away matches in the Champions League.

"We wanted a new way to attack them so we made changes.”
