Roman Abramovich is ready to take over the responsibility of bringing Erling Haaland to the Blues in the summer transfer window.

The Norway international is attracting attention from all around the world at the moment, with some major clubs keen on putting pen to paper with him.

Erling Haaland

is showing off a talismanic performance at

Borussia Dortmund

this season as he met the target 47 times in 48 appearances since joining in January 2020.

The Norwegian was first planning to see out his contract which will expire in 2022, with his release club being around £66m.

Since BVB are struggling with a financial crisis, they are open to cashing in on their prolific striker when the campaign ends.

Among the clubs eager to sign with the 20-year-old are

Manchester United

,

Manchester City

,

Liverpool

, and

Chelsea

.

Chelsea are thinking about proposing a deal which includes Timo Werner moving to Dortmund, with

Roman Abramovich

being keen on sealing Haaland’s services.

Based on reports from the

Daily Star

, the Blues owner is prepared to take the matter into his own hands, despite his vow of not working with the Norway international’s agent Mino Raiola ever again. The duo had a problem regarding the pursuit of Romelu Lukaku in 2017, with the Belgium international eventually moving to Manchester United.

Thomas Tuchel

was told that qualifying for the

Champions League

can be a great advantage in the competition for the 20-year-old’s signature.

Chelsea are sitting fourth on the

Premier League

table and there are nine games left to be played.
