‘He is Okay’ – Nuno provides Patricio injury update after head injury
Wolverhampton goalkeeper Rui Patricio suffered a head injury during his team’s 1-0 defeat to Liverpool.
The Portugal international left the pitch on a stretcher following a collision with a team-mate.
The blow to

’s head was dealt by the knee of captain
Conor Coady
as the defender raced back toward his own goal to defend
Mohamed Salah
’s scoring chance in the 86th minute.

Santo said he was relieved after the medical staff informed him that Patricio has escaped a serious injury and is Okay now.
“We have just had an update and he is okay,”
Nuno told
Sky Sports.<em>
“He is conscious, he remembers what happened and he is aware. The doctors tell me he is okay.
“We spoke already and he is okay.
“All these situations when it is a concussion in the head has all of us worried.
“He is going to recover so he is okay.”
