Real Madrid forward has suffered a psoas muscle injury.

Real Madrid have announced on

their official website

that the Belgian forward has suffered a muscle injury in his right psoas which could sideline him for 4-6 weeks. The 30-year-old played for 15 minutes in his side's match against Elche on Saturday which was his first return to action after his injury in January. Since his move from

Chelsea

in 2019, the 30-year old has been constantly struggling for fitness. He has missed 50 out of 85 matches at Real Madrid as he has suffered 11 injuries since his debut for the Spanish giants.

Real Madrid will play against

Atalanta

in the second leg of their Champions League round-of-16 tie on Thursday before facing

Celta Vigo

in LaLiga four days later. Zinedine Zidane's side sit second in the league as they are six points behind Atletico Madrid at the top of the table.
