Paratici: Ronaldo surely represents the future of Juventus

Sun 14 March 2021 | 18:12

Juventus Chief Football Officer talks about Ronaldo’s future at the club.

Juventus

have not had the best run this season. They were knocked out of the Champions League by

Porto

a few days ago. Juve have also fallen behind in the Serie A title race and are currently third in the table with 55 points, 10 points behind the league leaders,

Inter

.

The Bianconeri are set to face

Cagliari

tonight in a Serie A clash and Juventus Chief Football Officer

Fabio Paratici

has talked about the match in an interview with

Sky Sport Italia

.

"We focus on one game at a time, we must do the best for ourselves, not for the others. Inter's win changes nothing for us.”

Paratici said.

In recent weeks, there have been many rumors and speculations regarding

Cristiano Ronaldo

’s future at the club.

Paratici, however, believes these are only rumors and Juve are delighted to have the Portuguese superstar.

He said:

"It makes me laugh. I never imagined Ronaldo could be put into question. I grew up in a small town and I heard people discussing Platini, Rivera, Baggio, top players inside bars.

"Ronaldo won five Ballon d'Ors, I don't know how many Champions League. He won so many trophies and scored so many goals at Juventus. It's a privilege to have him here, we are happy to have him here.

"He surely represents the future of Juventus.
