De Gea seems to be nearing his final days at United.
Reports suggest that Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea will leave the club in the summer.
The 30-year-old goalkeeper has traveled to Spain for the birth of his son and, as a result, has been absent from recent United games and has been replaced by Dean Henderson. As Sergio Romero and Lee Grant's contract expires in the summer,Football Insider
claims thatManchester United
are considering buying David De Gea and recruiting a replacement for him.
De Gea currently earns £350,000 a week from the club and has a contract with the Red Devils until 2023, with his high salary prompting United to consider selling him. In 2011, he moved from Atletico Madrid to become the most expensive goalkeeper in history, replacing Edwin van der Sar. He gradually became one of the best goalkeepers in the world, but in the last few seasons, he has had a fluctuating performance.
He has played 432 games for United and has won the Premier League, the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the Europa League. However, it seems that he has no place in the squad of Ole Gunnar Sulscher and the Norwegian coach prefers to replace Dean Henderson in his squad.
