Sergio Ramos is set to meet with Real Madrid president before Easter
According to ABC, Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is scheduled to meet with the club's president before Easter.
' contract with Los Blancos expired on June 30 and he is allowed to negotiate freely with other clubs, but it seems that he is waiting for Real Madrid and is not interested in leaving the club.
The report goes on to say that despite some disagreements over the extension of the contract, the parties insist on reaching an agreement and continuing their relationship.
The two sides are said to have agreed on a two-year contract extension, but Ramos has not accepted the offer of a 10 percent annual pay cut. Ramos, 35, currently earns € 12 million a year.
Ramos has played for Real Madrid since 2005 and has made 668 appearances, scoring 100 goals.
