The Nerazzurri U-19 coach has praised the Bulgarian youngster for his great improvement since joining the team.

joined the
Nerazzurri Primaverain September 2020 and since then has established a reputation as one of the club’s fines talents. Inter U-19 sit second in the Primavera 1 table with 25 points as they have been without a defeat in their last five matches. In an interview after his team’s 3-1 win against Lazio U-19 on Sunday,
Armando Madonna
has spoken about Iliev’s development and his high degree of commitment to training.
Madonna told Italian media outlet

First of all he is born in 2004, and this says a lot. He has grown a lot, he has quality that is indisputable. He needed to grow in terms of training and in terms of physique.
“He hasn’t missed a minute of training since I started coaching him and this has become very important for me.”
Asked about Iliev’s performance in the match against Lazio, Madonna responded:
“Today he he found himself ready to deliver in a complicated match, I really enjoyed how he made himself available to the others.
“He has great attributes, we have seen this these last few months.”
