City are too far ahead of us - Solskjaer

Mon 08 March 2021 | 8:57

City are 11 points ahead of United, while there is only 10 games left.

Manchester United

boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has claimed that they have no chance of winning the title and that

City

are too far ahead.

Last night, United won a crucial victory at City Stadium against Etihad with goals from Luke Shaw and Bruno Fernandes. However, the Red Devils are 11 points behind City and have only 10 games left in the league. Now Solskjaer claimed that the Red Devils could not bridge the gap.

“We just take one game at a time,”

the Norwegian head coach told reporters

. “City are too far ahead for us to think we can catch them. Last year we caught 15 points up on Leicester, but City are a different proposition.

“Even today they put us under so much pressure you could see we were playing against a very good team.

"When you come away with a 2-0 win and another clean sheet and a performance like this then you are delighted.”
