Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford was forced off with an ankle injury in the derby clash with Manchester City.
The forward put up an impressive performance at Etihad as the Red Devils defeated their city rivals 2-0, thanks to goals from
Bruno Fernandes
and
Luke Shaw
.
In the middle of the second half,
Rashford
went down on the pitch and asked for help. He received treatment on his left ankle but he was not able to continue and forced to be replaced by
Mason Greenwood
.
Although he was able to make his own way off the pitch, he was limping and United will fear that he might be missing several matches.
He may also be out of action for United’s next week showdown against
West Ham
in the Premier League as they look to secure a top-four spot.
