’s wish to maintain the Spain international’s services.
Real Madrid have offered the 34-year-old a one-year extension to his contract of a €12m fee each season. however, should they reach an agreement, the salary has to be lowered for the club to reach better financial stability before any new deal can be signed.
The centre-back’s contract is due to expire on June 30, when he becomes a free agent. Among the clubs eyeing Ramos are
Paris Saint-Germain,
Manchester City,
Bayern Munich, but he would rather stay put. He is currently dealing with a knee injury that had him undergo surgery.
