Persepolis’ vice-president revealed that Bayern Munich are interested in acquiring Ali Karimi’s services and the 42-year-old has yet to decide.
It is reported thatBayern Munich
as a potential manager for their football academy in the United Arab Emirates which is going to be established in Dubai. The former footballer is well-known and praised in Dubai as he had a spell atAl-Ahli
from 2001 to 2005.
During the course of his career, he had also featured for Bayern Munich as their No. 8 from 2005 to 2007 where he contributed to both Bundesliga title and the DFB-Pokal in the 2005-06 season. The former Iran international, who met the target 38 times in 127 appearances for the national team, was named the Asian Footballer of the Year in 2004. Karimi hung up his boots on April 11, 2014.
It has yet to be revealed whether the ex-Iran international captain Karimi will take the offer.
