Qatari group ‘strongly interested’ in purchasing Inter

Based on the reports, an unnamed Qatari fund is showing strong interest in Inter.

According to

, an unnamed Qatari group along with BC Partners are keen on purchasing

Inter

from Suning, who are dealing with a financial crisis.

Suning may change their mind regarding selling the club, should they seal the €150-200 million loan they require to solve the financial problems until the end of the campaign.

23% of Suning.com has been sold to Chinese state-owned companies for the fee of €1.9 billion, but the money is going to be used is paying back the club’s maturing bonds.

According to reports from the Rome publication, Inter are facing a tough situation, with Antonio Conte’s side pulling off a significant performance in

Serie A

while the club owners are facing serious obstacles.

The Nerazzurri will also need to find a new shirt sponsor, as their current one will not be their main sponsor when the season ends.
