Real Madrid ready to make Bale's loan deal permanent

Bale's good performances in recent weeks may lead to his continued presence in London.

Real Madrid are hoping that

Gareth Bale

's good performances in recent weeks will satisfy

Tottenham

to buy him permanently.

Bale returned to Tottenham in the summer of 2020 on a one-season loan deal. His high salary and poor performance at Real put him on the club's sales list, and Tottenham eventually agreed to sign Bale on loan for a season, paying about half of his salary.

The Welsh star has performed very well in recent weeks at Tottenham and is nearing his peak. During the match against Burnley, he scored two goals and sent an assist to Harry Kane, which reminded everyone of his bright days.

Now the

Express

claims that Real Madrid hopes that this good performance will make Tottenham think about buying Bale permanently. This summer, Bale has one year left on his contract and Real will have to pay him € 600,000 a week. Los Blancos, on the other hand, are planning to buy Killian Mbabane from Paris Saint-Germain, for whom Bale's salary could be a major obstacle.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham will be content with Gareth Bale's permanent signing in the summer or whether the Welsh star will spend the next season at the Santiago Bernabeu.
