“I think Lukaku deserves to feel special at the moment because he is putting so much work in,”
Klinsmann explained toUS Broadcaster ESPN
after Inter’s victory against Genoa.
“He is all over the place for his teammates, he’s linking up with them really well and he knows when he has to be a little more ego-driven like with the first goal, he just wanted to score.
“He is in a very good state of mind and I hope that he stays consistent with that throughout the next couple of weeks and hopefully they will secure the Scudetto this year.”
Furthermore, Lukaku contributed an assist for Matteo Darmian's goal yesterday, before also having a role in the scoring of Alexis Sanchez's goal.
Lukaku's deal in inter is due to 2024, and he has played in 31 matches through all competitions, in which he has netted 24 goals and contributed six assists.
