Guangzhou City confirm the signing of Brazilian player Guilherme
Guangzhou City have officially announced the signing of the Brazilian midfielder, Guilherme Costa Marques.
After a one-month extension of the Chinese transfer market, teams still name their latest arrivals, with Guilherme going to Guangzhou.
Guilherme comes to China after playing some seasons in Turkey.
In that time, Guilherme aided Trabzonspor to earn the 2019/20 Turkish Cup and most recently was performing for Göztepe, whom he had netted two goals in ten league matches.
Before Turkey, Guilherme had spent most of his profession with Legia Warsaw of the Polish Ekstraklasa, where he was a massive success with four league titles and three Polish Cup successes before a short time in Serie A with Benevento.
The 29-year-old moved in Jean-Paul van Gastel’s team, who will try to improve their last season’s 11th place into being the team that finished fifth and sixth in consecutive seasons not too long ago.
