Freixa: “Too many people want to hurt Barça, you’ll Never Walk Alone”

Toni Freixa, Barcelona’s presidential candidate, expressed his support following the officials’ arrestment on Monday, saying others were pushing to “hurt” Barca.

is competing with Joan Laporta and Victor Font in winning the presidential place in Barca which is going to take place by the end of the week. The 52-year-old expressed his support to the officials who have been arrested on Twitter, saying: “

Too many people want to hurt Barça. We will not allow it. You’ll Never Walk Alone

.”

The police have attacked Barcelona’s facilities, which can influence the election process. The club’s current interim president is Carlos Tusquets since Josep Maria Bartomeu resigned his post.

Freixa used to work with Sandro Rosell and Josep Maria before departing in 2015.
