Spezia’s boss has talked about his side before Juventus clash.
says that he lives for football and claims there are more important things than a Serie A title in football.
“I have lived for football since I had a sense of reason,”
“When I stopped playing, I felt like I was dying.
“But now I do something that drives me crazy. Football is my reason to live.”
And about Spezia’s performance in their first year in Serie A he said:
“Most thought they would cut us into pieces,
“We had a quick transfer market because we finished last season on August 20.
“We played for months on a neutral pitch and many of our players didn’t know Serie A.
“If salvation comes, it will have more value to us than a Scudetto. For now, we are doing well, we will be the revelation when we are saved.”
He has also talked about their ambitions against Juventus, saying that he knows how hard their job is.
“We know we face one of the strongest teams in Europa and in Italy,” Italiano added. “They have some problems, but we won’t think about that.
“We must approach the match at the Juventus Stadium like we did when we played Milan.”
