Mon 01 March 2021 | 11:30

The Welsh winger scored a brace in his team’s Sunday match against Burnley.

Gareth Bale

has been showing signs of his best form recently. The Wales international scored two goals and provided an assist in the

Spurs

’ league match against the

Clarets

on Sunday. The 31-year-old has been doing a new goal celebration lately which introduces the Make-A-Wish foundation. However, this time he celebrated by doing a 'Welsh Mafia' gesture with

Heung-Min Son

. While they were doing the celebration,

Lucas Moura

attempted to join in with an 'L' sign which seemed to be unrelated to Bale's idea.

Speaking to

Spurs TV

, Bale said:

“Because everyone is saying ours is Welsh Mafia, he's decided to go with just Lucas!”

Asked about his performance against Burnley, Bale responded:

“Yeah, I'm building. Yeah, it's taken a while, but yeah, I'm happy.

“I'm growing in confidence, my fitness is getting better and obviously then I think you can see that in my performance.”
