PSG interested in buying Napoli's right-back Elseid Hysaj

Sun 28 February 2021 | 21:30

Regardless of having monetary restrictions because of the Covid pandemic, it will not prevent their director of sports Leonardo from stocking up in Italy, his number one spot to buy players.

Paris Saint-Germain will allegedly target different players whose agreements will lapse toward the finish of the season.

One player that the Parisians have their eyes on is Napoli's right-back

Elseid Hysaj

. The 27-year-old's arrangement runs out in June and fills a requirement for Les Parisiens.

ESPN initially detailed PSG's eyeing the player, and now

Corriere del Mezzogiorno

affirms the report. Moreover, the Italian news source expresses that the French giants are now in contact with Mario Giuffredi, Hysaj's representative.

With

Alessandro Florenzi

being the solitary trustworthy right-back for the

Ligue 1

side, they'll need to reinforce the position. Additionally, Florenzi is on a loan bargain from AS Roma, with a clause of €9-million alternative to purchasing.

The funds could trigger that proviso for Florenzi and add the Albanian Hysaj, who may have the impulse to go to the Le Parc des Princes.
