The Red Devils, who continue to compete for both the FA Cup and Europa League titles, currently sit second behind
Manchester Cityin the
Premier Leaguetable.
Beckham praising his former teammate in Inter Miami’s new jersey launching event, said:
"Ole has done really well, he is loved by the fans and the player.”
"He is respected because of what he has done in his career and even in difficult times he has performed and given everyone at United hope. I wished him a happy birthday the other day and called him boss. He doesn’t call me that - but I might ask him to."
Solskjaer’s arrival in 2018 to replace Jose Mourinho as Manchester United’s manager earned him a three-year contract after changing things around at Old Trafford.
Since joining the Premier League side Solskjaer was able to sign several players including
Harry Maguire,
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and
Daniel James.
According to reports, the 48-year-old will only be given a contract extension if they win the domestic title for this season.
For their upcoming match, Solskjaer’s men will face
Chelsea, who are sitting six points behind them in the table.
