The Argentina international has missed the games since January due to an injury that was initially going to have him out for a few weeks.

Paulo Dybala

is not going to undergo surgery for his knee, according to

Juventus

boss

Andrea Pirlo

.

The 27-year-old has been out of action for about two months now and has recently gone to Barcelona to visit the specialist Dr. Ramon Cugat.

Juventus are set to face

Hellas Verona

on Saturday, aiming to earn the three points and close their gap with the

Serie A

leaders

Inter

.

Pirlo commented on the attacking options:

“[Dejan] Kulusevski is doing well even in a role that may not be his. We ask him slightly different things from what his characteristics are, but he's fine.

"[Alvaro] Morata is still struggling with a virus, while there is no news on Dybala."

When quizzed if they will come back for the battle against Porto in the Champions League, he responded:

"We are waiting for Alvaro, he must rest until Sunday. For Paulo, we will evaluate with the medical staff what is the best solution to get him back as soon as possible.

“There is no risk of an operation.”

The Argentine sustained the injury in Juve’s crucial clash against

Sassuolo

on January 10. Juventus have later stated that he “

had suffered a low-grade lesion of the medial collateral ligament of the left knee

”, and was going to be out for two to three weeks. He has missed 11 games ever since.
