The Red Devils plan to offer three players to compete with other Premier League teams in recruiting Rice.

Manchester United

intend to use Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones and Nemanja Matic to sign Delan Rice from West Ham United.

The Red Devils want to strengthen their midfield and, therefore, want to use the players on the sales list as part of future contracts.

90Min

claimed that three players currently have such conditions. Lingard, who joined West Ham on loan and has performed very well in his new team with 3 goals in 4 games, is the first option. Matic, who has played 13 games for his team this season and is not experiencing good conditions, is another option. Phil Jones, who has not played a single minute this season and played just eight games for United last season, is the other option for the Red Devils.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer intends to use these three players, who have no place in his squad, to sign Rice. Rice's good performances this season have attracted a lot of attention, and Chelsea is his most serious client. United will face tough competition to sign Rice, and it remains to be seen whether they can use the three least used players to finalize the transfer.
