Djite hails signing of Craig Goodwin
Adelaide United has announced the loan signing of Craig Goodwin until the end of the A-League 2020-21 season.
The 29-year-old signed a loan deal with the Reds two weeks ago and was officially unveiled to the media for the first time after two weeks in quarantine.
Goodwin
previously spent three seasons with the Reds across two separate spells and scored a total of 25 goals in 92 appearances in all competitions.
Djite
stated his capture is a massive coup for the team due to his pedigree.
“It’s phenomenal for us as a football Club,” Djite told reporters at Coopers Stadium on Tuesday.
“He’s a legend of the Club, he’s had success here, he’s won trophies here before.
“He’s an experienced head, I think he’ll help us on and off the field.
“… We all know he can score goals, his set-pieces are good and he can help the team in a number of ways.”
